You’ve been given a lot of answers. Nobody has given you the tools to find your own.

The books, the blogs, the advice from everyone around you — most of it tells you what to do in one specific situation, for one kind of child, toward someone else’s destination. When it doesn’t work, you’re left wondering what you did wrong. The truth is, it was never built for your child’s temperament, your values, or the parent you actually want to be. When those things aren’t part of the plan, you don’t end up where you were trying to go.

I don’t just help you solve the problem in front of you. I help you understand your child deeply enough to handle every problem that comes after it — with confidence, with intention, and without losing yourself in the process.

That’s what Intentional Parenting is. And it’s what Crib Notes is here for.

The foundation of everything I do: Intentional Parenting.

Most parenting advice gives you a fish. I teach you how to fish.

Intentional Parenting isn't a method. It's a framework built on two things: your child's developmental science, and your values as a parent. When you understand both — and when we address the regulation piece that sits at the root of nearly every parenting struggle — you don't just solve today's problem. You build the tools and confidence to handle every problem that comes after it. In a way that gets you to your destination, not someone else's.

What People Are Saying

  • "What Randi did for us is worth any amount of money! Our son was waking multiple times a night completely inconsolable, and after one four hour visit he put himself to bed and slept through the night (minus two feedings) ON DAY ONE! Everyone slept 8 hours! It probably sounds too good to be true, and maybe we're exceptionally lucky, but we credit Randi 100% for the results. She gave us the tools and confidence to help our kid (and us) get sleep."

-Sarah and Daniel, Parents of 1

  • "It’s true what they say – nothing can prepare you for parenthood. There are ups, and there are downs, and then there’s the unknown. After speaking with multiple other doula services it quickly became clear what I didn’t want (cooking, cleaning, etc.) and that we needed a childcare expert who could offer bespoke guidance. Randi’s support (hands-on and electronic) was invaluable in helping us care for our son and become more informed and capable parents. I’ll never forget Randi’s first postpartum visit where we were sleep deprived from his 3am swaddle breakouts and by the time Randi left we were feeling empowered to tackle whatever came next! Each visit we learn something new to apply and her feedback provides affirmation on how our son is developing. Randi’s approach is one that adapts to all of our styles – including my husband, who is a very rational management consultant type. We’ve enjoyed working with Randi so much in the fourth trimester that we’re excited to continue to partner with her for the next year. I can’t recommend her services enough! "

  • "Randi was absolutely amazing and completely changed my breastfeeding journey. I was really struggling, as was my son, and breastfeeding was incredibly painful. After a few hours with Randi, I learned so many new techniques that breastfeeding no longer hurts and my son is eating significantly more & better. She is such a wealth of knowledge, is completely non-judgemental, patient, kind and understanding. She helped me to process a difficult first few weeks with my son and start to move forward. I woud highly recommend her services and will absolutely be using her in the future to help navigate new stages with my baby!"

  • "Randi has been a tremendous source of support to us during the early days of parenthood, and we are better parents because of her guidance. We always felt reassured knowing that Randi would visit soon. She answered every question with skill and compassion, and almost always from firsthand experience. No need for middle-of-the-night Googling! It's obvious that Randi truly loves what she does. Our daughter is very calm in Randi's presence, and it was such a treat for my partner and I to enjoy our first postpartum date while leaving our little one in Randi's trusted presence. From helping our daughter put herself to sleep for naps to recommending developmentally appropriate toys and gear, Randi has been both a time and sanity saver. Now that we're through the fourth trimester, we're looking forward to working with Randi as our daughter reaches other milestones (e.g., starting solids). Working with Randi is one of the best decisions we made for our postpartum selves, and we can't recommend her services enough. We love Randi!"

  • “Randi provided our family with knowledge based, practical support as first time parents. She was able to connect with my husband and I and answer questions we had not even realized we had. Randi is kind, intelligent, experienced in her craft, open, genuine and so easy to be with. We immediately felt as though she were part of the family. She helped us navigate the challenges of newborn days and beyond. I 1000% recommend Randi, as a professional and person.”

  • "Randi helped us with our 5 month old baby's sleep difficulties. During the initial Zoom meeting, Randi listened carefully and asked insightful questions. She suggested a number of strategies, and was thoughtful and sensitive to our feelings about sleep training. Randi provided a number of options for us to try to improve sleep during naps and during the night. Her suggestions were very helpful and the strategies we chose to use resulted in better sleep quality and happier baby, parents and grandparent carers. Randi continued to check in over the next month to see how we were faring. When we texted her with questions, she replied promptly and in a very personal and thoughtful way. We really enjoyed working with Randi. It was so reassuring to get her advice. "
